A Fresh Start

I feel like the time has come for me to make a fresh start.

I’ve started a new blog, which you can find here.

Flora

Yesterday I shared some recent pictures of feline fauna.  Today seems like a good day for some flora, then.

Feline Muses

Lately, I’ve been doing quite a bit of pet photography (all cats so far), both for family members and myself. (I absolutely adore animals of many kinds.)  Here are the best of recent feline photos:

Pure, Whimsical Fun

Frieda the frog

Sometimes, when you feel you’re uninspired or in a rut (or in an uninspired rut), you just need something purely for fun.

In this case, it breaks down like this:

1 dollar store toy mascot (being, in this case, Frieda the Frog) + front yard + camera = pure, whimsical fun

Tawny Daylily

Tawny Daylily

The first Tawny Daylily of the season has bloomed in the front yard, and I hadn’t been out with my camera in a while, so I seized the opportunity as the sun dipped behind the mountain to capture it in the evening light.  Beautiful!

“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these.” – Matthew 6: 28-29, NRSV
